Dolores L. Connors, 87, Cary, N.C., died Jan. 14, 2002, in Raleigh, N.C. She was born March 26, 1914, in Rochester, Minn., to Nathaniel O. and Eleanora O. Tuberg. She resided in Brookings from 1955 to 1961 where her husband, John, worked as the general manager at Brookings Plywood from 1955 to 1962. Survivors include sister, Merle E. Gold of Ithaca N.Y.; sons, John J. Connors Jr. of Bothell, Wash., Thomas P. Connors of Carrollton, Texas; daughter, Nancy C. Mingis of Cary, N.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Connors; her parents; and brother, Armon N. Tuberg. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Marys St., Raleigh, NC 27605, or SPCA of Wake County, 219 Garner Business Court, Garner, NC 27529. Arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Society of the Carolinas in Raleigh. |
