Debra Jo Lee, 43, Harbor, died Sept. 6, 2000.
She was born July 16, 1957, in San Jose, Calif., to John and Dorothy Hensley.
She lived in various places including Paradise, Calif., Pueblo, Colo., Seattle, Wash., Syracuse, N.Y. and San Jose, Calif.
Mrs. Lee married Lucas Chapman in Los Angeles and divorced in 1985.
She married her current husband David Lee in 1990 in Santa Clara, Calif.
She was employed with the juvenile detention center before moving to Brookings in April. She worked at Fred Meyer as a cashier. She loved to travel.
Survivors include her husband David Lee, Brookings; mother Dorothy Thomas, Pueblo, Colo.; father John Hensley, Green Valley, Ariz.; sons Kyle and Chris Chapman, Chico, Calif.; Joshua Lee, Brookings; daughters Rachael Chapman, Chico, Calif.; Jennifer Lee, Brookings; brother, John A. Hensley, Pueblo, Colo.; sister Elizabeth Kolkow, Green Valley, Ariz.
Preceding her in death was her brother Donald C. Lance.
A memorial service is scheduled for today (Sept. 9) at 5 p.m. at Scantlins Brookings Chapel, 2 Ross Road.
Arrangements are under the direction of Scantlins Brookings Mortuary Chapel.
