Lawrence Joseph Paradis

Lawrence Joseph Paradis, 88, of Woodburn, died Sept 3, 2011, at home.

Paradis was born Nov. 26, 1922, in Brooks, Minn.

Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Friday Sept 9, 2011, with a rosary service Thursday at 7.p.m. both at St. Lukes Church in Woodburn. Remembrances in his name may be donated to the St Vincent De Paul Society. Go to http://memorialwebsites.legacy.com/LawrenceJParadis/Homepage.aspx for more.

Christine Watrous 

Former Brookings resident Christine Watrous, 93, of Grants Pass, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at Highland House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass. Private family services will be held.

Marvin O. Avery 

Marvin O. Avery passed away at his home in Harbor on Sept. 5, 2011. He was 93. 

He was born July 14, 1918, in Minot, N.D. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Redwood Memorial Chapel. An obituary will be printed in the Pilot at a later date.
