Lloyd Marvin Parkhurst Lloyd Marvin Parkhurst, 59, of Brookings, passed away Dec. 11, 2012, in Gold Beach. He was born Aug. 1, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa. Arrangements under the direction of Redwood Memorial Chapel. Submitted by Redwood Memorial Chapel. Jimmy E. Phillips Jimmy E. Phillips, 53, passed away Dec. 13, 2012, in Brookings. He was born April 15, 1959, in Crescent City. A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Brookings Elks Lodge 1934, 800 Elk Drive. A reception will follow there.
