Robert “Bob” McKay Former longtime Brookings resident Robert “Bob” McKay, 81, of Silverton, passed away in Silverton, Aug. 30, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Bob and his wife lived in Brookings approximately 20 years before moving to Silverton two years ago. He was born April 16, 1931, in Lexington, Mass. A service was conducted Sept. 6, at Willamette National Cemetery, near Portland. Condolences may be sent to Janet McKay, 455 W. Marquam St., No. 10, Mount Angel, OR 97362. Submitted by friends.
