Marvin L. Mix Former Brookings resident Marvin L. Mix, 76, of Bend, died Feb. 12, 2012, in Bend. He was born Aug. 23, 1934, in Maitland, S.D. Marvin and his wife Marjorie lived in Brookings from 1967 to 1995. A private service will be on Feb. 23, in Deschutes. Arrangement under the direction of Deschutes Memorial Chapel and Gardens. Remembrances may be made in his name to Partners in Care/Hospice, 2075 N.E. Wyatt Court, Bend OR 97701. Submitted by family.
