Coral Beth Buehler, 76, McMinnville, died Aug. 4, 2000.
She was born Sept. 16, 1923, in Portland. She spent her youth there.
In 1945, she graduated from Oregon State University. She was employed as senior bacteriologist for the Oregon State Board of Health in Portland.
She married Milton Henry Buehler Jr. June 29, 1951, in Portland.
After marriage, they lived in Eugene, Seattle, South Dakota and Virginia. She moved to McMinnville from Washington, D.C., in 1970 following her husbands retirement from the U.S. Navy.
Mrs. Buehler was involved with the Boy Scouts for many years and all four of her sons were Eagle Scouts.
She was past regent of the Yamhill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution; member of First Presbyterian Church in McMinnville; Yamhill County Historical Society and Oregon State Alumni Association. She was also a life member of Interlaken Historical Society in New York.
Survivors are sons Gregory Buehler, Tigard; Scott Buehler, Weedsport, N.Y.; Timothy Buehler, Brookings; Todd Buehler, McMinnville; caregiver Karen Sanderson, Sheridan.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m. at Chapel of Macy and Son, McMinnville.
Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum in McMinnville.
