Cheryl Lynn Corrigan
Cheryl Lynn Corrigan, 55, of Brookings, passed away Feb. 29, 2012. 

She was born Jan.  21, 1957 in Crescent City, to Richard and Linda Bliss. She was the oldest of three children.

She married Terry Corrigan June 29, 1974.

Cheryl’s greatest love was her grandchildren. She also loved her garden and spent many hours making a beautiful, park-like setting surrounding her family home.

She is survived by her husband Terry; daughter April (Scott) Ireland; son Rick (Amy) Corrigan; her beloved grandchildren Chase, Bailey, Dane, Lilly and Ryder; parents Richard and Linda Bliss; mother-in-law Donna Corrigan; and brothers Mark (Terri) Bliss and Mike Bliss.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Coastal Home Health and Hospice, P.O. Box 493, Gold Beach, OR 97444 or to Relay For Life, 811 Paradise Lane, Brookings, OR 97415.

A graveside service will be  at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at W.J. Ward Memorial Cemetery, 1035 Seventh St. in Brookings.

A celebration of Cheryl’s life and potluck reception will follow at 1 p.m. at the Sidney Croft Masonic Lodge, 416 Azalea Park Road in Brookings.
