Cecil Wisecarver, 85, died March 7, 2002, at Curry Good Samaritan Center in Brookings.

He was born Nov. 26, 1916, in Grants Pass to Robert and Emma Wisecarver.

He grew up in Grants Pass, attending schools in Grants Pass and La Grande.

He married Lucile in 1961 in La Grande.

Mr. Wisecarver retired and moved to Brookings in 1983 from La Grande.

He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include son, Lloyd Wisecarver; sisters, Maxine, Dorothy and Kay; brothers, Jack and Buzz Wisecarver.

Also surviving are six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 15, at 2 p.m. at W. J. Ward Memorial Cemetery. His son, Lloyd Wisecarver, will officiate.

Remembrances may be made to the Cecil Wisecarver Fund By Lloyd Wisecarver, in care of Umpqua Bank, 16271, Highway 101, Harbor.

Arrangements under the direction of Litty Funeral Directors, Brookings Chapel.
