Cecil Ray Easterly, 60, Brookings, died Nov. 22, 2000.
He was born Oct. 31, 1940, in Picher, Okla.
He graduated from Woodland High School in Woodland, Calif., in 1958.
Mr. Easterly spent several years in the construction industry before entering the restaurant and night club business. He owned several such businesses through the years.
He became vice-president of marketing for an international sales organization in 1975. He then became the chief executive officer for Family Leisure Time Inc. and developed a ranch time share development in Colorado.
In later years, he continued in the restaurant business in various positions until the time of his death.
Survivors are sons Eric and Eddy Easterly; granddaughter Jamie Easterly; mother Margaret Easterly; brothers Orville Easterly and Gary Easterly; sisters Sharon Roberts and Becky Sucevich.
A graveside service is planned for today (Dec. 2) at 11 a.m. at Monument Hill Memorial Park in Oroville, Calif.
