Byron Suiter, 35, Brookings died April 3, 2002, in Crescent City of injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident.

He was born Feb. 13, 1967, in Crescent City to Russ and Karen Suiter.

Mr. Suiter grew up in Brookings and was a 1985 graduate of Brookings-Harbor High School.

He married Traci Douglas Jan. 11, 1986.

He was employed at Freeman Marine Equipment, Inc. Mr. Suiter was a member of the Southern Curry County Dirt Riders and was a volunteer for the Curry Youth Football Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors are his wife, Traci Suiter; daughters, Ashley and Caitlin Suiter; son, Joshua Suiter; father; sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Russell Strain; nieces, Megan and Kaylee Strain, all of Brookings.

Preceding him in death was his mother.

A memorial service will be today (April 10) at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1200 Easy St. Dr. Gordon Myrah and Curt Fox will officiate.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Litty Funeral Directors.

Donations may be made to Washington Mutual Bank, where an account has been established to help the Suiter family.
