Beverly J. Fitzgerald, 76, Brookings, died June 13, 2002, in Brookings.

She was born Dec. 7, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to LeRoy and Beverly Iserman.

She grew up in Englewood, N.J., and attended Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y.

She married Ken Lange in New York in 1946.

She married Ken Fitzgerald in Los Angeles in 1972.

She moved to Brookings in 1995 from Avon, Conn.

Mrs. Fitzgerald worked at Frontier Paint and Wallpaper in Denver, Colo.

She is survived by her husband; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Nancy Lange of Debuque, Iowa; son and daughter-in-law, Kennie and Angela Lange of Lancaster, Wis.; daughter, Heather Stranger of Oklahoma City; brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Edie Iserman of Asharoken, N.Y.; and 10 Fitzgerald stepchildren, 35 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband.

Arrangements are under the direction of Litty Funeral Directors, Brookings Chapel.

Services will be today (June 15) at 10 a.m. at Star of the Sea Catholic Church followed by burial at Ward Cemetery with Father Edmund Ryan officiating.
