Beth L. Akin-Rupe, 93, went peacefully to live with Jesus on Feb. 5, 2012, surrounded by her family and loving caregivers at Hazel House, in Brookings. She was born June 23, 1918, in Seattle. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Redwood Memorial Chapel, 1020 Fifield St., in Brookings. Interment will follow at the W.J. Ward Memorial Cemetery, 1035 Seventh St., in Brookings. Submitted by Redwood Memorial Chapel
