Bernice Ida Finch

Bernice Ida Finch, 98, Medford, died Dec. 20, 2000, at her home.

She was born Aug. 14, 1902, in Waterloo, Iowa.

She married Donald K. Finch Sept. 18, 1944, in Reno, Nev.

Mrs. Finch lived in Klamath Falls from 1927 to 1945. She lived in Harbor from 1967 to 1978, then she moved to Medford.

She was a member of St. Timothys Episcopal Church in Brookings. She had been a member of Amaranth and Eastern Star.

Mrs. Finch enjoyed crafts, knitting and crocheting.

Surviving is her daughter Alice Theis, Medford.

Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her first husband Laverne Mead and her son Robert Mead.

Funeral services are planned for today (Dec. 23) at 10 a.m. at Hillcrest Chapel, 2201 N. Phoenix Road, Medford.

Rev. Bob Williams of the Apostolic Faith Church in Medford will officiate.

Entombment will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum in Medford.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 380 S.E. Spokane, Suite No. 110, Portland, OR 97202.

Arrangements are under the direction of Conger-Morris Funeral Directors, Medford.
