A defective core switch has disrupted telephone and Internet service to several Curry County government offices.

The Sheriff, assessor, clerk, district attorney, juvenile department and road department have all been affected by the outage. Emergency 911 service has not been affected.

A replacement switch is expected to arrive in the next day, and should be fixed by 5 p.m. Wednesday. For more information, contact the Curry County Commissioner’s office at 541-247-3296.
