Friday’s rainy weather did not deter at least two people from trying to spot migrating whales off the coast of Harris Beach State Park. Nearly 160 gray whales pass along the coast each day this time of year as the mammals make their annual migration north to their feeding grounds in the Bering and Chukchi seas.
