|BOWEN FACING MURDER CHARGES|

Gregory Allen Bowen, 42, who has been accused of the Dec. 29 assault of a Harbor woman and the Dec. 30 murder of Don Plamer Christiansen, also of Harbor, was arraigned Thursday on a grand jury indictment.
The charges in connection with the murder of Christiansen are two counts of aggravated murder, one count of murder, four counts of first-degree theft and one count of second-degree theft
Aggravated murder is an unclassified felony punishable by death, life imprisonment without parole or life imprisonment with a 30-year minimum.
Murder is an unclassified felony punishable by life imprisonment and subject to Oregon sentencing provisions.
The charges connected with the assault include attempted murder, a class A felony; second-degree assault, a class B felony; two counts of second-degree kidnapping; two counts of coercion, a class C felony; two counts of fourth-degree assault, a class A misdemeanor, and two counts of menacing, a class A misdemeanor.
Bowen remains in Curry County Jail without bail.
He is scheduled to return to court with his court-appointed attorney, Bob Abel, at 9 a.m., April 16, for a status conference.
