Police respond to threat at Gold Beach High School Print E-mail

It appears that Gold Beach High School was temporarily closed down this morning after the school received a threat of some kind from a student. Details are sketchy at this point. The threat has been investigate and there is no longer any danger at the school, according to authorities. The incident was limited to Gold Beach High School and did not impact  schools elsewhere in Curry County. The Pilot is waiting to here back from Gold Beach Police Chief Dixon Andrews and Gold Beach school officials for more information. Look for a full story later today.
