 The Brookings-Harbor Garden Club won the award for best overall float in the 2010 Azalea Festival parade Saturday. The Pilot/Arwyn Rice Azalea Parade award winners Junior Band – Smith River Elementary School Senior Band – Brookings-Harbor High School Equastrian – Railriders 4-H Club Antique and Classic Cars – Harbor Fire Department President’s Award (best use of flowers) – Curry County Democrats Grand Marshal’s Award (best use of special effects) – Brookings-Harbor Community Theater Queen’s Award (best use of color) – Habitat for Humanity Mayor’s Award (most original) – C&K Markets Sweepstakes Trophy (best overall) – Brookings-Harbor Garden Club |
