Director Megan Hulen announces the final two performances of “Pocahontas” will be tonight (Jan. 25) at 7:30 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26 at the Harbor Performing Arts Center.

The Wordspinner (Michaela Dingle) and the rhythmic beat of the tom-toms open and close this musical adventure for all age groups. Pocahontas (Stephanie Birks) is the daughter of the Algonquin Chief Powhatan (Jed Doan). The princess delights in playing with Raven (Nikki Campbell), Wolf (Alia Graves) and Squirrel (Megan Pearson). Pocahontas has also made friends with the English settlers of Jamestown, a community struggling with starvation and sickness, according to a news release from Brookings Harbor Community Theater.

The musical features such songs as “Live Forever,” “No Common Ground” and “Your Heart Always Knows.”

Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $7 for students and  $5 for children 5 and younger. Tickets may be purchased at New Wave Video in Harbor or Wright’s Custom Framing and Arts Supplies in Brookings. For information or reservations, call 541-661-2473.
