Members of the Concert Choir, Grace Notes and Sea Breeze combined to sing opening and closing numbers. The Pilot/Lorna Rodriguez

Brookings-Harbor High School band and choir students laughed, smiled and had fun as they showcased their musical talents to a packed house Thursday night during the school’s Fall Concert.

Concert Choir, Grace Notes, Sea Breeze, the combined choirs, Concert Band and Jazz Band all performed under the direction of BHHS Band and Choir Instructor Greg Goode. Virginia Riddle accompanied the choirs on piano, and Shirley Hyatt presented a cameo appearance on violin.

Each ensemble performed two or three pieces to the energetic audience. “Alleluia! I Will Sing,” “American Bell Carol,” “Bonse Aba,” “Ain’t No Sunshine,” and “More I Cannot Wish You”  were among the numbers presented.

The next concert is on Dec. 19.
