Brookings Harbor High School students showed their school spirit this week by dressing up for theme days, participating in a bonfire, a powder puff football game, the senior class clean-up day, noise parade, the homecoming football game and dance.
Monday night's bonfire was "real traditional and old-fashioned," Principal George Park said.
Head Varsity Football Coach Joe Morin said the bonfire raises spirit for the team. "It gets the kids out," he said.
The powder puff football game Wednesday night doubled as a benefit for the Dillon family, student organizer Kodi Howard said.
The noise parade brought screaming students from each class to Chetco Avenue Friday afternoon on their respective floats.
Throughout the week students dressed up according to daily themes. Monday was pajama day, Tuesday was fake injury day, Wednesday was nerd day, Thursday was blast from the past day and Friday was blue and gold day.
