The Pistol River Concert Association presents Chuck Pyle in concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Pistol River Friendship Hall.

Pyle, who was raised in Iowa, has lived in Colorado since 1965 and has been labeled as “Colorado” as the Rockies, and has been recorded by Colorado icon John Denver, along with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jerry Jeff Walker and Suzy Bogguss. He has appeared on Austin City Limits and wrote the theme song for the PBS series, “The Spirit of Colorado.”

Tickets for the concert are $15 and available at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings and at Gold Beach Books in Gold Beach.  Tickets may also be reserved online at http://www.pistolriver.com or by calling 541-247-2848.
