Stagelights hosts award-winning guitarist, singer and songwriter Dana Hubbard, who will perform an intimate concert of blues, folk and bluegrass at 7 p.m. today (Sept. 15), at the Chetco Cove Yacht Club, 16333 Lower Harbor Road, Harbor.
Tickets are $15 at the door and seating is limited to 45 people. A potluck with the artist begins at 6 p.m. and guests are encouraged to bring their favorite dish or dessert.
“We are very fortunate to have this highly sought-after fingerstyle guitarist, who plays a fantastic mix of blues, folk and even a little bluegrass,” said concert organizer Scott Graves.
Hubbard presents a warm, engaging personality on stage, singing and telling stories, often with quite a bit of humor. He won first place at the “Acoustic Blues Competition” at the 2009 Telluride Blues and Brews Festival, and took first place in the acoustic folk category at the 2009 Indie International Song Contest.
He has opened for or shared the stage with Sam Bush, David Wilcox, Greg Allman, Etta James, Little Feat, Robert Cray, Albert King, Charlie Musselwhite, Joe Ely, John Hammond, Chris Isaak and David Lindley.

A portion of the ticket sales will benefit Stagelights’ music outreach and education programs.
