Nationally-known quilter leads workshop in Harbor

Linda Ballard, a nationally-known quilt teacher, will present “Discover the Possibilities,” at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at the Driftwood Estates Mobile Home Park clubhouse, 16063 Driftwood Lane.

The program, presented by the Azalea Quilters Guild, will show how Ballard looks at quilts and how to simplify their construction. 

In addition, Ballard will share a slide show of quilts as well as actual quilts. Attendees will not only learn new techniques, they may also leave with new ideas.

 Anyone interested in quilting is invited to attend. There is no cost to members of the Azalea Quilters Guild. The cost for nonmembers is $5. For information, call 541-412-0425 or 541-469-3647.
