The first Hog-Toberberfest is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. until close, which is anticipated to be between 9 and 10 p.m. at the Port of Brookings Harbor boardwalk.
Planning for this event started some nine months ago as a traditional Octoberfest to be held downtown, but had recently been moved to the port and with an added twist – bikes.
MoVino’s will be serving up several different types of beer on tap. Anne Boulley will be selling “Boulverian” food. Other types of food will also be available.
Entertainment has been hired from the Ashland area, Synrgy and 100 Watt Mind with a drum solo set and a few local bands in the mix will rock the stage all day long.
Bike games, venders, a kids’ jump house, raffles and more are scheduled.
Sponsors include the Port of Brookings Harbor, Lucky 7 Casino, Highway 101 Harley Davidson in Coos Bay, KCRE and KURY Radio, MoVino’s and The Gourmet Guide.
Vendors are still being accepted. Call 541-661-1187 for more information.
