Five musical acts will perform two hours of holiday favorites at the Harbor Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Dec. 15, as part of Stagelights’ third annual Community Christmas Concert.

The family-friendly event begins at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. with a suggested donation of $5 per person. All proceeds will benefit Stagelights’ music education and outreach programs.

The featured artists will perform secular and non-secular holiday songs such as “Jingle Bells,” “Walking in a Winter Wonderland,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” and “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear.”

The groups are:

•Resonance – a 12-member a cappella group;

•Coastal Tones – women’s barbershop quartet;

•The Perry Russell Band, country rock;

• Stephanie La Torre, pop vocalist.

• Nobody’s Business, acoustic pop and rock.

In addition to being a fundraiser for Stagelights, sales from the snack bar will benefit the Brookings-Harbor Community Theater. Everyone is invited to bring canned food items, which will be donated to the local food bank.

The Harbor Performing Arts Center is located at 97900 Shopping Center Avenue in Harbor.

This is the third annual holiday music concert hosted by Stagelights Musical Arts Community, a Brookings-bases nonprofit group that promotes live music events and music education in local schools.
