•Nature’s Coastal Holiday light show will shine from 5 to 9 p.m. at Azalea Park. General admission is $1. Refreshments will be served. The show will be nightly through Saturday, Dec. 24.
•The second annual ChariTree Festival will be on display through Friday, Dec. 9, in vacant storefronts at the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. The public is welcome to vote for their favorite tree. The event is sponsored by Shop Smart and Pharmacy Express.

•The Gold Beach Chute Out features bull riding and barrel racing at 7 p.m. at the Event Center on the Beach, 29392 Ellensburg Ave., Gold Beach, with the rock band Crush playing for a dance after the competition.
