Saturday, Sept. 21

Learn about seed saving during a presentation at the Brookings-Harbor Community Helpers Food Bank, 539A Hemlock St., Brookings. Jennifer Ewing of Port Orford will share the best practices and her experiences with seed saving. For more information, call 541-469-5808.

The Confederated Tribes of the Lower Rogue sponsor its 21st annual Gathering of the People powwow at Big Bend. The public is invited to hear and share the history of traditional ceremonies of the Chetco and Tututni people. A dinner fundraiser benefitting the Dreams, Hope and Faith Foundation at Cornerstone Ranch will be from noon to 7 p.m. in the Curry Showcase Building at the Event Center on the Beach, 29392 Ellensburg Ave., Gold Beach. The event will include a pasta dinner, musical entertainment, a silent auction and games. Tickets are $12 at the door.

Azalea Quilt Guild will meet in the Driftwood Estates mobile home park community room, 16063 Driftwood Lane, Harbor.
