“Learn about Hula” during the Lifelong Learning Series at 1 p.m. in the Sea View Senior Living Community activity loft, 98059 Gerlach Lane, Harbor. Participants will learn about hula, a Polynesian dance form from Ariel Farris. She will demonstrate the “language” of hula, which involves arm and hip movements to tell a story. The last Brookings-Harbor Shoe Exchange of the year will be from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Brookings Elks Lodge lower level, 800 Elk Drive. Shoes of different styles are available in all sizes. All are in good shape and are available for free. Donations of shoes in any condition are accepted at shoe bins at Ray’s Food Place in Brookings, Shop Smart in Harbor, Smith River School and Julindra Recycling in Crescent City.
