Trash Dogs will meet at 9 a.m. in the Fred Meyer parking lot in front of the garden area. The group will clean up several dump sites along Forest Service Roads 1107 and 1983. Wear work clothes. Gloves and drinking water will be provided.

Veterans of Foreign Wars will serve breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the VFW Hall, 507 Pacific Ave., Brookings. The meal includes Belgian waffles with fresh strawberries, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, coffee, tea and orange juice. The cost is $8 for the general public and $6 for children 12 and younger.

The Azalea Quilt Guild will meet in the Driftwood Estates community room, 16063 Driftwood Lane, Harbor. Fun day will begin at 10 a.m. Guild members will be preparing for the upcoming quilt show and working on unfinished quilting projects.
