Trash Dogs will meet at 9 a.m. in the parking lot in front of the garden area at Fred Meyer, 325 Fifth St., Brookings. The group plans to clean up areas along Forest Service roads 1107 and 1983 in the vicinity of Mount Emily. Wear work clothes. Gloves and drinking water will be supplied.

Saturday Walk N Talks led by State Park Ranger Angela Stewart will feature edible and medicinal plants of the park. Meet at the Harris Beach State Park campground entrance booth parking lot at 2 p.m. For more information, call 541-469-2021.

The 25th annual Brookings-Harbor Home and Garden show is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kalmiopsis Elementary School, 650 Easy St., Brookings, organized by the Brookings-Harbor Chamber of Commerce. The show will also be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 30. For information, call 541-469-3181.
