The Curry County Republican Central Committee will serve crab during its annual Lincoln Day fundraiser at 5 p.m. in Docia Sweet hall at the Event Center on the Beach, 29392 Ellensburg Ave., Gold Beach. The keynote speaker will be Sheriff John Bishop who will talk about the Second Amendment. A silent and live auction will be held. Tickets are $25 at the door.

Disabled American Veterans, S.R. Pyne Chapter 20 , will meet for a Commander’s Breakfast from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. at the Beachcomber Restaurant, 800 Chetco Ave., Brookings, followed by a meeting at 10 a.m. at Chetco Community Public Library, 405 Alder St., Brookings. The Brookings-Harbor Shoe Exchange will be from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Brookings Elks Lodge lower level, 800 Elk Drive. Shoes of different styles are available in all sizes. Monday, Feb. 25

The Azalea Quilt Guild meets in the Driftwood Mobile Home Estates community room, 16063 Driftwood Lane, Harbor. During fun day, which begins at 10 a.m., the group will be making baby quilts, burp cloths and possibly bibs for the Soroptimist Baby Shower scheduled for Sunday, March 3. CC’s Cancer Resource Center offers free counseling and resource options daily to women addressing cancer issues. The resource center is inside CC’s Upscale Resale Clothing Store in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center in Harbor. The center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
