•The 12th annual North Coast Redwoods Writers’ Conference will be at 6 p.m. at College of the Redwoods Del Norte campus, 883 W. Washington Blvd., Crescent City. The conference ends at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22. The $95 registration fee includes all events, a continental breakfast, and a hot lunch, catered by Fabulous Foods by Julie in Smith River. •Brookings Harbor Community Theater presents “Bed, Breakfast and Broadway!” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. •Chetco Grange 765 will sponsor a free Fifth Saturday Hoedown featuring District 5 Oregon Old Time Fiddlers Association at the Chetco Grange Community Center, 97895 Shopping Center Ave., Harbor. The fiddlers will be on stage from noon to 2 p.m. followed by an acoustic jam from 2:15 to 4. All ages are welcome. People may stop by for a while or attend the entire program. •The Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness (DNACA) begins its 32nd annual performance series with the Eugene Ballet Company in “All You Need is Love” at 7:30 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. Tickets are $18 general, $15 for seniors 65 and older, and $12 for students.
