Wednesday, Sept. 12

Gil Kirk performs vocals and piano from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sebastian’s Seafood Grill, 16011 Boat Basin Road, Harbor. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays and 7 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. For information, call 541-412-7977.

Thursday, Sept. 13

Pelican Bay Arts Association will meet at the Manley Art Center and Gallery, 433 Oak St., Brookings. The meeting begins at 11 a.m. followed by a potluck. This month, instead of a demonstration, there will be a “meet and greet” for anyone interested in learning more about the art center. People are welcome to ask questions and gain information.

Friday, Sept. 14

Brookings Harbor Community Theater presents “Bed, Breakfast and Broadway!” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. Performances will also be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, as well as the following weekend. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $5 for students, and are available at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings and New Wave Video in Harbor. Jerry Moffit performs on keyboard from 6 to 9 p.m. at Nautical Inn, 16850 Highway 101, Smith River.

Gary Lowdon performs on saxophone from 6 to 9 p.m. at O’Holleran’s Restaurant and Lounge, 1210 Chetco Ave., Brookings. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Old Time Music Jam will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at  Chetco Activity Center, 550 Chetco Lane, Brookings. Musicians of all ages are welcome. For information, call 541-469-6787.

Saturday, Sept. 15

Pelican Bay Arts Association presents “Recycled Treasures,” a fundraiser for its scholarship fund, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Manley Art Center and Gallery. Admission is $5 at the door which includes finger foods, wine and an auction beginning at 6.

The Gold Beach Quilters Guild will have its 28th annual quilt show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Docia Sweet Hall at the Event Center on the Beach, 29392 Ellensburg Ave. The show will continue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16. Daily admission is $3. Lunch can be purchased both days.

Saturday, Sept. 22

The Pistol River Concert Association presents Hanz Araki and Kathryn Claire with Chris Hayes in concert at 8 p.m. at the Pistol River Friendship Hall, 24252 Carpenterville Road, Pistol River. Tickets are $15 and available at  Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings, The Book Dock in Harbor and Gold Beach Books in Gold Beach. Sunday, Sept. 23

The American Music Festival presents Tsunami Swing Band in the final free concert of the season. The performance will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Azalea Park bandshell in Brookings.
