Friday, Dec. 2
•Christmas with the King, starring local Elvis impersonator Tony La Torre, will be presented by Brookings-Harbor Community Theater at 7 p.m. at Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. •Brookings-Harbor High School Bruin Players present “Laugh Lines” at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium, 625 Pioneer Road, Brookings. Admission is $5 at the door. The show contains mild language and innuendo. Shows will also be 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, as well as the following weekend.
•Lon Goddard and Aura Wright will perform from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at The Salty Dog Coffee Bar at the Port of Brookings Harbor boardwalk. Several guests are expected to join the duo including Shirley Hyatt and Dorothy Power. Admission is free.

•The Brookings-Harbor Community Theater will present a reading of “The Christmas Carol” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. The show will also be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10. All tickets are $5 at the door.
•The classic rock band Crush will perform live during a dance following the Gold Beach Chute Out at the Event Center on the Beach, 29392 Ellensburg Ave., Gold Beach.
