Thursday, Dec. 1

•Karaoke is offered at 9 p.m. at Shooters Billiards Bar, 1091 Highway 101 N. Crescent City; and at 9:30 p.m. at 101 Bar and Grill, 98141 W. Benham Lane, Harbor.

Friday, Dec. 2

•Christmas with the King, starring local Elvis impersonator Tony La Torre, will be presented by Brookings-Harbor Community Theater at 7 p.m. at Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. •The Chetco Pelican Players debuts “The Little Prince” at 7:30 p.m. at the Chetco Playhouse, 1240 Chetco Ave., Brookings. •Brookings-Harbor High School Bruin Players present “Laugh Lines” at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium, 625 Pioneer Road, Brookings. Admission is $5 at the door. The show contains mild language and innuendo. Shows will also be 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, as well as the following weekend.

•Lon Goddard and Aura Wright will perform from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at The Salty Dog Coffee Bar at the Port of Brookings Harbor boardwalk. Several guests are expected to join the duo including Shirley Hyatt and Dorothy Power. Admission is free.

•United Methodist Church, 664 H St., Crescent City, will present a free Christmas concert at 7:30 p.m. The Chancel Choir, the Del Norte High School Madrigal Choir and the Spirit Rings Hand Bell Choir will perform. A dessert party will follow.

•Jerry Moffit on keyboards and Gary Lowdon on sax perform from 6 to 9 p.m. at Nautical Inn, 16850 Highway 101, Smith River.

•Old Time Music Jam will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at  Chetco Activity Center, 550 Chetco Lane, Brookings. Musicians of all ages are welcome. For information, call 541-469-6787.

Monday, Dec. 5

Wednesday, Dec. 7

•The Brookings-Harbor Community Theater will present a reading of “The Christmas Carol” at 7 p.m.  on KURY Radio and on Charter Cable channel 4.

Friday, Dec. 9

•The Brookings-Harbor Community Theater will present a reading of “The Christmas Carol” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. The show will also be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10. All tickets are $5 at the door. 

•The classic rock band Crush will perform live during a dance following the Gold Beach Chute Out at the Event Center on the Beach, 29392 Ellensburg Ave., Gold Beach. Gates open at 6 p.m. with bull riding at 7. Live music and dance to follow. Advance tickets are $9 or $13 at the gate. Children 4 and younger are free. •An Acoustic Christmas with Pam Tillis, country music star, will be presented by Lucky 7 Casino at 7 p.m. at the Tolowa Event Center, 350 N. Indian Road, Smith River.

Sunday, Dec. 11

•Ellensburg Theater Company presents “A Curry Christmas Carol” musical variety show at 2 p.m. at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for children 6-12 and free for children 5 and younger. Performances will also be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 16 and 17.
