Grace Lutheran Church invites the public to join in the “Messiah” sing-a-long at 3 p.m. at the church, 188 E. Cooper Ave., Crescent City. Those who have a copy of the score may bring it, or rent one at the event.

Thursday, Nov. 29

Brookings Harbor Community Theater presents the musical “The Secret Garden” at 7:30 p.m. in the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Performances will also be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, as well as the following Thursday through Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $7 for students and are available at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings or New Wave Video in Harbor. Chetco Pelican Players presents “A Christmas Carol” at 7:30 p.m. at the Chetco Playhouse, 1240 Chetco Ave., Brookings. Performances will also be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, as well as the following two weekends. Tuesday, Dec. 4

Brookings Harbor Community Theater will hold auditions for “Holy Canoli” at 6:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Parts are available for teens and older.
