Wednesday, May 9

•The College of the Redwoods, Del Norte Chorale will give its annual spring concert – titled “A Patchwork of Memories” – at 7 p.m. in Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. The choir, some 70 voices strong, is under the direction of Christie Lynn Rust, with piano accompaniment by Jill Dovre. Thursday, May 10

•The Portland-based rock band Robert Wynia and The Sound will perform at 8 p.m. at Redwood Theater, 621 Chetco Ave., Brookings. Opening the concert is Moonspoon, Slow Children, Even Dunn and Sequoyah Oregon. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for youths 18 and younger and are available in advance at the Redwood Theater box office.

•Ellensburg Theater Company presents “Tuna Does Vegas” at 7:30 p,m. at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. Additional performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 11 and 12, and 2 p.m.  Sunday, May 13. The final performances will be Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19. •Audi Stanton will talk about selling art during the monthly meeting of the Pelican Bay Arts Association. The meeting begins at 11 a.m. followed by a potluck lunch. The demonstration begins at 12:30 p.m. the meeting will be at the Manley Art Center and Gallery, 433 Oak St., Brookings.

Friday, May 11

•The annual Ruby Van Deventer Wildflower Show will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds, 421 Highway 101 N., Crescent City. The show continues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12. Admission is free.

Saturday, May 12

•Lighthouse Repertory Theatre will host its sixth annual fundraising gala at 5:30 p.m. in the Tolowa Event Center at Lucky 7 Casino, 350 N. Indian Road, Smith River. Tickets are $45 and includes a buffet dinner, a silent auction and a live performance with a Las Vegas theme. Tickets are on sale at Del Norte Office Supply in Crescent City. Proceeds go toward the renovation of Red’s Theater.

•The 95th Second Saturday Art Walk will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at venues along Chetco Avenue, Oak Street and Art Walk Alley in Brookings. Special events, art, music and refreshments will be featured.

Sunday, May 13

•ORCA Singers will perform for the Mildred Hill Concert Series at 6 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 2015 Washington St., Port Orford. Tickets are $10 for general admission and free for youth through age 18, and are available by calling 541-332-9002 and at the door.

Thursday, May 17

•Del Norte High School Dance will present its annual spring dance concert, “Whispers in the Dark,” at 7 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City.  Many seniors will be performing their choreographed final pieces. Performances will also be 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19. Friday, May 18

•Brookings-Harbor Community Theater presents “Grease” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. Shows will also be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 19, and 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, as well as the following two weekends. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $9 for seniors and $7 for students, and may be purchased at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings and New Wave Video in Harbor and at the door. •The Pistol River Concert Association presents roots and blues stylist Ray Bonneville at 8 p.m. in the Pistol River Friendship Hall, 24252 Carpenterville Road. •Friends of Music presents ASHU on classical saxophone with pianist Kuang-Had Huang at 3 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God, 518 Fir St., Brookings. Admission is $15 for adults and free for students younger than 18.

•The Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness (DNACA) presents country rock pioneer Pure Prairie League at 7:30 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City.
