•The King’s Heralds will perform in concert at 7 p.m. at Brookings Seventh-day Adventist Church, 102 Park Ave. This group has received 23 Silver Angel Awards and a Gold Angel Award in recognition for being the oldest, continuous gospel quartet in America.

•Karaoke is offered at 8 p.m. at MoVino Wine Bar, 625 Chetco Ave., Brookings.; at 9:30 p.m. at 101 Bar and Grill, 98141 W. Benham Lane, Harbor; and at 9 p.m. at Turf Club, 900 Front St., Crescent City.

•An Open Mic Jam Session  is offered at 7 p.m. at Shooters Billiards Bar, 1091 Highway 101 N. Crescent City.

•Gil Kirk performs vocals and piano from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sebastian’s Seafood Grill, 16011 Boat Basin Road, Harbor. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays and 7 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. For information, call 541-412-7977.

•Del Norte High School Dance will present its annual spring dance concert, “Whispers in the Dark,” at 7 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City.  Many seniors will be performing their choreographed final pieces. Performances will also be 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19. Friday, May 18

•Brookings-Harbor Community Theater presents “Grease” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. Shows will also be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 19, and 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, as well as the following two weekends. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $9 for seniors and $7 for students, and may be purchased at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings and New Wave Video in Harbor and at the door. •Ellensburg Theater Company presents “Tuna Does Vegas” at 7:30 p,m. at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. Because of the cancellation of an earlier performance, a make-up performance has been added. The performance will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students. •Jerry Moffit performs on keyboard from 6 to 9 p.m. at Nautical Inn, 16850 Highway 101, Smith River.

•Gary Lowdon performs on saxophone from 6 to 9 p.m. at O’Holleran’s Restaurant and Lounge, 1210 Chetco Ave., Brookings. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

•Old Time Music Jam will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at  Chetco Activity Center, 550 Chetco Lane, Brookings. Musicians of all ages are welcome. For information, call 541-469-6787.

•The Pistol River Concert Association presents roots and blues stylist Ray Bonneville at 8 p.m. in the Pistol River Friendship Hall, 24252 Carpenterville Road. Tickets are $15 each and are available at The Book Dock in Harbor, Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings, and Gold Beach Books in Gold Beach. •Stagelights Musical Arts Community will have an open mic from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Stagelights Clubhouse, 16333 Lower Harbor Road, Harbor. The event is free, but donations will be accepted to cover building rental costs.  Hot chocolate, soda and water will be available for purchase; popcorn is free. 

Sunday, May 20

•The 25th annual America’s Wild Rivers Coast Wine, Art and Music Festival will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Event Center on the Beach, 29392 Ellensburg Ave., Gold Beach. Wineries, distilleries and breweries will be featured along with food, music, arts and crafts and flowers. Admission is $10 for patrons 21 and older and includes a complimentary wine taste and raffle ticket. Admission is free for people 20 and younger. The festival will also be from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 20. 

•Friends of Music presents ASHU on classical saxophone with pianist Kuang-Had Huang at 3 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God, 518 Fir St., Brookings. Admission is $15 for adults and free for students younger than 18.

•The Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness (DNACA) presents country rock pioneer Pure Prairie League at 7:30 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. Tuesday, May 22

•Brookings-Harbor Community Theater will hold auditions for the musical “Lady Pirates of Captain Bree” at 6:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. •Randall Tillery will give an oil painting demonstration beginning at noon, preceded by a potluck, at Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. Tillery is a member of the Oil Painters of America, The California Arts Club, The Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, and past president of the California Arts League.
