•Pelican Bay Arts Association will have a GIMP workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Manley Art Center and Gallery, 433 Oak St., Brookings. The workshop will be presented by Sharon Guinn. The workshop cost $5. Bring a laptop with GIMP installed and photos to work on.
•The Fourth Thursday Art Demonstration begins at noon on March 22, preceded by a potluck at Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. •Stagelights Musical Arts Community hosts its monthly open mic from 6 to 9 p.m. at Stagelights Clubhouse, 16333 Lower Harbor Road, Harbor. The event is free. Refreshments will be available for purchase. People are encouraged to bring canned food that will be donated to the Brookings food bank. Musicians are welcome to perform original and cover songs. Time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are usually 15 to 20 minutes long, depending on how many musicians show up.
•The Pistol River Concert Association presents Blame Sally in concert at 8 p.m. at the Pistol River Friendship Hall, 24252 Carpenterville Road, Pistol River.
•The third annual Artists Roundup will expand the former Poets Roundup to include artists and musicians from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Port Orford Community Hall and American Legion Hall in downtown Port Orford.

•Lighthouse Repertory Theatre will hold auditions for its Annual Gala Production at 6:30 p.m. at United Methodist Church, 664 H St., Crescent City. Roles are open for teen and adult men and women. •Chetco Grange 765 will sponsor a free Fifth Saturday Hoedown featuring District 5 Old Time Fiddlers Association from noon to 4 p.m. at the Chetco Grange Community Center, 97895 Shopping Center Ave., Harbor. The fiddlers will be on stage from noon to 2 p.m. followed by an acoustic jam session from 2:15 to 4. All ages are welcome. Audiences are welcome to stop by for awhile or attend the entire program.
