•The First Saturday Afternoon Acoustic Jam will be from 1 to 3 at Cream Cafe, 625 Chetco Ave., Brookings. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Bring an acoustic instrument. Chetco Music Co., will supply a few instruments for those who may not have one.
•The Port Orford Arts, Wine & Seafood Festival will take place at the Community Center on E. 11th Street off Highway 101 with events taking place all day as well as Sunday and Monday, Sept. 2 and 3. Tuesday, Sept. 4
•Brookings Harbor Community Theater announces auditions for “The Woman in Black” will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. Auditions will also be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5. Director Stephanie La Torre will be looking for two men and one woman between the ages of 25 and 60. Saturday, Sept. 8
•The fifth annual Gold Beach Brew and Art Fest will be from noon to 10 p.m. at the Event Center on the Beach, 29392 Ellensburg Ave., Gold Beach. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
