•"Creative Mondays" take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. Attendees may come for only part of the day if wished; a 3 p.m. critique is encouraged. This is not limited to painters, but for any artwork a person wants to work on . •The King’s Heralds will perform in concert at 7 p.m. at Brookings Seventh-day Adventist Church, 102 Park Ave. This group has received 23 Silver Angel Awards and a Gold Angel Award in recognition for being the oldest, continuous gospel quartet in America.
Thursday, May 17
•Del Norte High School Dance will present its annual spring dance concert, “Whispers in the Dark,” at 7 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. Many seniors will be performing their choreographed final pieces. Performances will also be 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19. •Brookings-Harbor Community Theater presents “Grease” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. Shows will also be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 19, and 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, as well as the following two weekends. •The Pistol River Concert Association presents roots and blues stylist Ray Bonneville at 8 p.m. in the Pistol River Friendship Hall, 24252 Carpenterville Road.
