Monday, March 12

•Karaoke is offered at 9 p.m. at Turf Club, 900 Front St., Crescent City.  

Tuesday, March 13

•Brookings-Harbor Community Theater will hold auditions for the musical “West Side Story” at 6:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. Parts are available for 19 men and 14 women, ages 15 and older. Auditions will also be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 14. For information, call Dori Blodgett at 541-661-2473.

Friday, March 16

•Brookings-Harbor Community Theater presents “Deadly Every After,” a murder mystery, for youth 14 and older, based on literary characters, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. Identities are on sale at Pacific Rim Copy Center. The cost is $15 to play a character and $10 to be a guest and solve the mystery. No tickets will be available at the door. •Michael C. Anthony, hypnotist and comedian, will perform at 6:30 p.m. in the Brookings-Harbor High School gym, 625 Pioneer Road, Brookings. Shows will also be at 4 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17. Tickets are $15 and are available online at www.raisethefunds.com through March 8, and $20 afterward and at the door. The shows benefit the Kalmiopsis/Azalea PTO.

Saturday, March 17

•Ellensburg Theater Company presents the Golda Awards for its 2011 season plays at 6:30 p.m. at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. The St. Patrick’s Day-themed event will include entertainment titled “Rogue ‘RiverDance.’” For reservations, call 541-247-4ETC (4382).

•Brookings-Harbor Community Theater presents “Murder at the Bourbon Club,” an interactive mingle mystery from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. Identities are on sale at Pacific Rim Copy Center. The cost is $25 for a single and $45 for a couple. Guest packets are available for those who do not wish to be a suspect, but would like to solve the mystery. No tickets will be sold at the door. Participants must be 21 or older. •Friends of Music presents the Mandelring Quartet at 3 p.m. at the Calvary Assembly of God, 518 Fir St., Brookings. Tickets are $15 for adults and free for students.

•Del Norte County Courthouse, 450 H St., Crescent City: "Heritage Quilts" from the Lighthouse Quilt Guild.  One quilt was made by the Commercial Fishermen’s Wives in 1971, another quilt is a sample of the 10 made every month by the guild to send to wounded service personnel overseas, and the third quilt is created from vintage neckties.
