Monday, Dec. 3

Curry/Del Norte Orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. at Brookings Seventh-day Adventist Church, 102 Park Ave. Admission is $10 for adults and free for students through 12th grade. Tickets are available at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings, Gold Beach Books, and Del Norte Office Supply in Crescent City.

“Creative Mondays” take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. Attendees may come for only part of the day if wished; a 3 p.m. critique is encouraged. This is not limited to painters, but for any artwork a person wants to work on. Tuesday, Dec. 4

Brookings Harbor Community Theater will hold auditions for “Holy Cannoli” at 6:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Parts are available for teens and older. Wednesday, Dec. 5

The North Coast Choral of College of the Redwoods, Del Norte will perform “Songs of the Season, Christmas Concert” at 7 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. Admission is free.

Friday, Dec. 7

Chetco Pelican Players presents “A Christmas Carol” at 7:30 p.m. at the Chetco Playhouse, 1240 Chetco Ave., Brookings. Performances will also be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, as well as the following weekend. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students and are available at Chetco Pharmacy and Gifts and Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings and New Wave Video in Harbor. Ellensburg Theater Company presents a musical holiday revue – featuring singing, dancing, instrumental music and comedy acts – at 7:30 p.m. at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. Shows will also be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, and the following weekend. On Sunday, Dec. 9, Santa will be available for photos from noon to 1:30 p.m. with a matinee following at 2. Saturday, Dec. 8

The 102nd Second Saturday Art Walk will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at venues along Chetco Avenue, Oak Street and Art Walk Alley. Special events, music and art will be highlighted.

A Christmas Art Walk will feature 16 galleries in Port Orford from 2 to 5 p.m. The event will end with the lighting of the Port Orford Crab Pot Christmas Tree at TriAngle Square. Maps are available at participating galleries.

Sunday, Dec. 9

ORCA Singers will present its 15th annual Holiday Concert at 3 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1200 Easy St., Brookings. Admission is free.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

Del Norte High School bands will present an holiday concert at 7 p.m. in the high school’s main gym, 1301 El Dorado St., Crescent City. The concert will feature the steel, stage and concert bands. Friday, Dec. 14

The Del Norte High School Music Department will hold its trio of annual Madrigal Dinners in the Elk Valley Rancheria community room, 2332 Howland Hill Road, Crescent City.  Tickets cost $30 for the Friday and Saturday night dinners, $25 for the Sunday luncheon, and must be purchased by Dec. 10.
