Monday, April 30

•Karaoke is offered at 9 p.m. at Turf Club, 900 Front St., Crescent City.

•"Creative Mondays" take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. Attendees may come for only part of the day if wished; a 3 p.m. critique is encouraged. This is not limited to painters, but for any artwork a person wants to work on . •Lighthouse Repertory Theatre will hold auditions from 6 to 8 p.m. for its summer melodrama, "Return, Back to the Melodrama, The Trilogy" or "The End of Time – Travel in 3.5D," in the United Methodist Church upper level, 664 H St., Crescent City. Friday, May 4

•Ellensburg Theater Company presents “Tuna Does Vegas” at 7:30 p,m. at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. Additional performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, as well as the following Thursday through Sunday. The final performance will be May 19. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students. •The spring Crescent City Art Walk will be from 4 to 7 p.m. and will feature 20 venues in the harbor and downtown areas. Each venue will have visual art on display, refreshments, and some will include entertainment. For more information, call Evermore Jewelry and Art Gallery at 707-465-6000. 

Saturday, May 5

•Hootenanny Singalong meets from noon to 2 p.m. at Chetco Activity Center, 550 Chetco Lane, Brookings. All ages, instruments and voices are welcome. The event is free. For information, call 541-469-6787.

Wednesday, May 9

•The College of the Redwoods, Del Norte Chorale will give its annual spring concert – titled “A Patchwork of Memories” – at 7 p.m. in Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. The choir, some 70 voices strong, is under the direction of Christie Lynn Rust, with piano accompaniment by Jill Dovre. Thursday, May 10

•The Portland-based rock band Robert Wynia and The Sound will perform at 8 p.m. at Redwood Theater, 621 Chetco Ave., Brookings. Opening the concert is Moonspoon, Slow Children, Even Dunn and Sequoyah Oregon. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for youths 18 and younger and are available in advance at the Redwood Theater box office.

Friday, May 11

•The annual Ruby Van Deventer Wildflower Show will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds, 421 Highway 101 N., Crescent City. The show continues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12. Admission is free.
