“Creative Mondays” take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. Attendees may come for only part of the day if wished; a 3 p.m. critique is encouraged. This is not limited to painters, but for any artwork a person wants to work on. Lighthouse Repertory Theater presents the musical production of “This is Crescent City” at 7:30 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. Performances will also be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8 and 9, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, as well as the following weekend. Cornerstone Assembly of God Church presents an “American Idol” concert at 7 p.m. at the church, 1281 Douglas St., Crescent City. “American Idol” alums Phil Stacey and Chris Sligh will perform contemporary gospel crossover music. General admission is $10 per person. In addition there are VIP PLUS tickets for $35 that include front-row seating, and VIP tickets for $20 with premium seating.
