Gil Kirk performs vocals and piano from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sebastian’s Seafood Grill, 16011 Boat Basin Road, Harbor. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays. For information, call 541-412-7977.

Friday, Oct. 18

Gary Lowdon performs on saxophone from 6 to 9 p.m. at O’Holleran’s Restaurant and Lounge, 1210 Chetco Ave., Brookings. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Old Time Music Jam will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at  Chetco Activity Center, 550 Chetco Lane, Brookings. Musicians of all ages are welcome. For information, call 541-469-6822.

Saturday, Oct. 19

The a capella group Purely Voice will perform at 11 a.m. at the Curry Public Library, 94341 Third St., Gold Beach. The group will present a selection of Broadway show tunes.

Guitarist Chuck Pyle, known as the Zen Cowboy, will perform in concert at 7 p.m. at the Capella by the Sea in Azalea Park. Tickets are $15 and are available at the Curry Coastal Pilot office. Chetco Pelican Players hosts its 10th annual haunted house, “Club Dead — Discover Exotic Destinations” nightly through Halloween. This year the event will be at the former Torero’s Restaurant building, 777 Cottage St., Brookings. It will be open 7 to 10 p.m. week nights and 7 to 11 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween. Admission is $10.

The Del Norte-Curry Community Concert Association presents its second performance of the season, pianist Dale Gonyea, at 7:30 p.m. in Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City.  Adult tickets cost $15 and children/students with identification are admitted are free.  For more information, call   541-661-3390 or 707-465-6572.

Award-winning Brookings artist Pete Chasar will be giving Fourth Thursday Demo at noon at Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. He will be painting a redwood scene with acrylics using a technique he calls “graphic realism.” A finger-food luncheon will precede the demonstration at 11:30 a.m. For more information, call 707-464-9133.

The Jessie Goergen Crew, the Texaco Showdown Oregon state champion, will perform at 11 p.m. at 101 Bar and Grill, 98141 W. Benham Lane, Harbor.

Tuesday, Oct. 29

Ellensburg Theater Company is hosting “Halloween Haunted Theater” from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. The haunted house will continue from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 30 and 31. For more information, call 541-247-4ETC (4382).
