Saturday, Nov. 30

Karaoke 4 Kids will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. The all-ages event is sponsored by Stagelights and Brookings Harbor Community Theater. The cost is $3 per person or $8 per family. For more information, call 541-373-3727.

Tuesday, Dec. 3

Brookings Harbor Community Theater will hold auditions for the musical production of “Pocahontas” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Youths ages 5 to 16 are welcome to audition. For more information, call Director Dori Blodgett at 541-661-2473.

Ellensburg Theater Company presents “Curry Christmas Carol II” at 7 p.m. at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. Shows will also be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, as well as the following weekend. Tickets are $12 for general admission, $8 for children 12 and younger and lap sitters 5 and younger are admitted free. Hot cider and baked goodies will be served. Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness presents Dirk Powell and Cedric Watson in a program called “At the Old-time Creol-Cajun Crossroad” at 7:30 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for seniors age 65 and older, and $12 for students, K-college full-time. Tickets are available at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings or Del Norte Office Supply in Crescent City.

Tuesday, Dec. 10

Pacific Music Guild presents the North Coast Choral and Crescent City Children’s Choir in concert presenting Christmas songs at 7 p.m. at the Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. Tickets are $5 and available at Del Norte Office Supply and at the door. The concert will also be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11.
