Thursday, Nov. 14

The monthly general meeting of Pelican Bay Arts Association will be at 11 a.m. followed by a potluck lunch at Manley Art Center and Gallery, 433 Oak St., Brookings. Instead of a demonstration, a visioning workshop to discuss the direction of the association will being at 12:30 p.m. For more information, call 541-469-1807.

Friday, Nov. 15

Lighthouse Repertory Theater presents the musical production of “This is Crescent City” at 7:30 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. Final performances will also be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for seniors and children. Brookings Harbor Community Theater presents “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at 7:30 p.m.  at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Performances will also be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, as well as the following weekend. Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness (DNACA) presents singer Maura O’Connell, chanteuse, in concert at 7:30 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G. St., Crescent City. Season tickets for five concerts are now available at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings or at Del Norte Office Supply in Crescent City. Chris Hawthorne from  Hawthorne Gallery and Redfish Restaurant will give a presentation on art glass as part of the “Interesting Langlois” series at 6 p.m. at Langlois Public Library, 48234 Highway 101.

Elk Valley Casino presents Aaron Radatz, a Las Vegas magician, at 8 p.m., at the casino, 2500 Howland Hill Road, Crescent City.
