Saturday, March 15

Lighthouse Repertory Theatre presents the musical “Oklahoma!” at 7:30 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. Shows will also be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16, as well as the following weekend.  Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors and are available at Del Norte Office Supply in Crescent City or at the door. Brookings-Harbor Community Theater presents “Enchanted April” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. The final performance will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16. Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $7 for students, and are available at New Wave Video in Harbor and Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings. Monday, March 17

Audi Stanton will be starting an oil painting class from 9 a.m. to noon. The class will also be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays. Both classes continue for eight weeks. The cost is $125. To register, call 541-412-7948.

Crescent Harbor Gallery presents a special one-hour art demonstration from 1 to 2 p.m. Sharon Guinn, an artist from Brookings, will do a liquid watercolor demo, and showcase her approach to cartooning.  The gallery is at 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. For more information, call 707-464-9133.

“Creative Mondays” take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. Attendees may come for only part of the day if wished; a 3 p.m. critique is encouraged. This is not limited to painters, but for any artwork a person wants to work on. Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness presents Two on Tap, a song and dance duo, performing at 7:30 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. Tickets cost $20 for general admission, $15 for seniors (65 and older) and $12 for students (kindergarten through college, full-time) and are available at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings and Del Norte Office Supply, or at the door. Friday, March 21

Ellensburg Theater Company hosts its ninth annual Membership Drive Party at Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. The evening begins at 6:30 with check-in of new and renewing members with entertainment beginning at 7. Hors d’oeuvres will be served. New members and anyone renewing their membership is invited. Saturday, March 22

Elk Valley Casino presents country music recording artist Frankie Ballard in concert with special guest Jackson Michelson at 8 p.m. at the casino, 2500 Howland Hill Road, Crescent City. Tickets are $25 and are available at http://www.elkvalleycasino.com.

Black-Out from Roseburg will perform a rock concert from 9 p.m. to midnight at 101 Bar and Grill, 98141 W. Benham Lane, Harbor. There is no cover charge. Attendance is open to those 21 and older only.

Thursday, March 27

Crescent Harbor Gallery’s “Fourth Thursday” art demo will be at noon, preceded by a potluck at 11:30 a.m. It will given by Deborah Dawson of Cave Junction. The artist and academic teacher works in watercolor, and says, “My work is about layers, the complexity of nature, and that corresponds to my complexity as a human being.”  For more information, visit the gallery at 140 Marine Way, or call 707-464-9133.
